Amy Kitcher is a local campaigner from Merthyr Tydfil and a rising star within the Liberal Democrats. She was elected to the Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council on a significant swing in 2008 and in the 2010 General Election achieved the biggest swing to the Lib Dems of any candidate in Wales. She had previously contested the Blaenau Gwent by-election in 2006. Amy has been actively campaigning on issues such as town centre traffic congestion, cuts in local healthcare provision and crime and disorder. Her main political concerns include the environment, social justice and community regeneration. She studies at both Aston University and the University of Sussex. |

Gez Kirby is a Welsh Labour branch and constituency officer and member of the PCS union Wales Committee. Cardiff born and Cardiff bred, he now lives in the Sirhowy valley and works as a PCS officer in Newport. Dr Clive King was born and brought up near Aberystwyth. Returning after study and work in various parts of the UK, he lives with his family in a small rural village. He has worked for global computer systems companies for the last 15 years solving technical problems worldwide. He is a Fellow of the Department of Computer Science at Aberystwyth University, a Member Nominated Trustee of a large company pension scheme and a past acting Chair of a Citizens Advice Bureau branch. He is currently engaged in a mid-life crisis of completing the Bob Graham Round. He writes in a personal capacity. |

Dewi Knight is policy and public affairs manager at The Open University in Wales, having previously worked on political policy development and policy and advocacy for a leading charity. He wrote the draft legislation that became Wales’s first ever private members’ Welsh Law, and is a Director of the Menter Iaith Abertawe social enterprise and an Executive Committee member of Public Affairs Cymru. Originally from Pontarddulais, he is currently saving up so that he can support Swansea City around Europe in their inevitable Champions League campaign of 2012/13. |

Claire Lawson has been External Affairs Manager for the RSPCA in Wales since early 1999 and has been studying or working in the political sphere for over 20 years including a regional organiser role in the 1997 referendum. In order to develop social research skills to better design campaigns around behaviour change, as well as gain an understanding of the aetiology of criminal activity surrounding animal cruelty, she has just completed a Masters in Criminology at Cardiff University. Following a current project on dangerous dogs and their use as weapons, she will be embarking on a PhD in the same field in 2011 which will focus on the issue of youths, their status dogs and anti-social behaviour. Claire is the current Chair of the Animal Welfare Network for Wales, a Fellow of the Institute of Welsh Affairs and a former Exec member of PAC. |

Tim Lee has served a number of airlines worldwide at a senior level. He was chief financial officer for one of the world?s fastest growing low cost airlines, chief executive officer at a Middle East charter airline, and has worked as chief commercial officer for a hybrid carrier. While proudly Welsh, he is for the time being based in Dubai, working with a range of airlines both locally and in West Africa. He is the founding managing director of flyforbeans Aviation, which has been considering ways of starting a new airline in Cardiff for some time. He is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society, and was educated at Croesyceiliog School in Cwmbran. He holds a degree in Engineering from the University of Bath, and an MBA from Cardiff Business School. Outside of work, he is an avid fan of travel, opera (particularly the Welsh National Opera), and the Welsh rugby team. |

David Lermon read law at Jesus College Oxford before qualifying as chartered accountant with the predecessor firm to KPMG in Cardiff. From 1976 to 1993 he worked as finance director and managing director of businesses in construction and financial services sectors. From 1993 to 2001 he was a consultant in the financial services industry. Between 1995 and 2001 David started and developed a software business with a business partner, working with medical databases for health services worldwide (business sold in 2003). Since 2001 he has been the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales) Director for Wales; since 2005 he has acted as Hon Treasurer of the Society of Architectural Historians of Great Britain, an educational charity. |

Rick Libbey is the Director of The Prince’s Trust Cymru. He is passionate about the cause of helping disadvantaged young people. Prior to joining The Trust Brigadier Libbey was Commander of 160 (Wales) Brigade, the most senior army officer in Wales. His career in the army spanned three decades around the world such as Australia, Cyprus, Germany, Kosovo and Bosnia. Rick is married and lives in the Vale of Glamorgan. |

Cath Lindley is General Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support in Wales and has been with the charity since 2001. She has worked in the voluntary sector in Wales for 20 years. After working for Age Concern and Victim Support, she was Director of the mental health charity Newport Mind for 12 years, then Senior Policy Officer at Wales Council for Voluntary Action for four years. Cath has represented the voluntary sector on a number of consultation bodies and working parties, including the national planning groups for health reform in Wales. She has been chair of the Wales Cancer Alliance since it was established in 2006. |

David Llewellyn followed in the footsteps of his grandfather Eugene Llewellyn and his uncle and joined the United States Army in 2000, training as a journalist and public affairs specialist. After the service, he rejoined the civilian sector and lives as a private citizen. Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, he learned of his Welsh heritage only after a grade school project tracing the origins of family names. From a naval family, he has lived across the United States and in other countries. Today, he currently resides in Norfolk, Virginia. |

Dr Dai Lloyd is a Plaid Cymru Assembly Member for South Wales West (or ‘Ospreylia’) and his party’s spokesperson on social justice, local government and regeneration. A GP by profession, Dai had been a Swansea county councillor and parliamentary candidate when he was elected to the National Assembly in 1999. He was Plaid’s Shadow Finance Minister between 2003 and 2007, and currently chairs the Subordinate Legislation Committee. He is married with three children. |

Elfyn Llwyd has been a Plaid Cymru MP since 1992, representing Meirionnydd Nant Conwy from 1992 to 2010 and Dwyfor Meirionnydd since 2010. He is also Plaid’s UK parliamentary group leader and sits on the advisory panel of the Howard League for Penal Reform’s Inquiry into veterans in prison, and is chair of the Veterans in Prison parliamentary group. Born in Betws y Coed in 1951 and educated in Llanrwst and the University of Aberystwyth, he worked as a barrister before being elected. |
