Edwina Hart is the Labour AM for Gower and Minister for Health and Social Services. An AM since 1999, she has previously served as Finance Secretary, Minister for Finance and Local Government and Minister for Social Justice and Regeneration. Born in 1957 in Gowerton, she was previously the first female President of banking union BIFU and is a former chair of Wales TUC.
