Alison Goldsworthy is Director of Communications and Events at the Kidney Wales Foundation. Prior to that she was Leonard Cheshire Disability’s Campaigns Manager. An active Lib Dem, she sits on their Federal Executive and co-managed Kirsty Williams’ successful leadership campaign in Wales. She stood in Cardiff West in the 2005 and 2007 elections and is a member of two British Council future leader programmes, the Transatlantic 2020 and the UK China 400. She helps co-ordinate the Welsh Lib Dems collective blog Freedom Central, occasionally contributing herself.
