Alan Trench on the Welsh blogosphere
Wales Business — By Adam Higgitt on December 30, 2009 6:26 pm
A LOT of WalesHome.org readers will be familiar with the work of Alan Trench of the Constitution Unit at UCL, and others (author included) enjoy his blog Devolution Matters. It is worth paying that site a visit today for Mr Trench’s survey of the Welsh blogosphere.
We are very pleased to be mentioned alongside This is My Truth and WalesWatch, two sites that we admire greatly. And it all serves to remind that nominations are still very much open for the Welsh Politico Blog Post Awards 2009.
Just to recap, the rules are straightforward. You nominate a blog post published during 2009 that you liked and feel is worthy of recognition by January 6th (easy to remember, it’s when you take down the Christmas tree). Then, a high-powered panel of experts (and me as well) judge. Then we let you know who’s won. Simples, as Alexander the Meerkat would say.
With Alan Trench’s splendid guide, there is no excuse not to nominate. So what are you waiting for? Leave your suggestions in comments or email us.

I love Alan’s blog – it kind of does the hard graft for blaggards like myself to reel off as ‘knowledge’ when I talk politics with people.
If I am honest, and I have never done anything ‘political’ for this website, I knew when the ideas for Wales Home was presented to me that it was going to be a winner and it is a pleasure to chip in.
I actually like Simon Dyda’s blog now he does short and sweet satire.
Change of Personnel is excellent, Welsh Ramblings has improved and Glyn Davies is always worth a read.
