A different sort of Halloween event – come along

December 2009 could well be make-or-break for efforts to tackle climate change. The climate talks in Copenhagen may or may not reach a fair and sufficient international agreement to cut carbon emissions.
Cardiff Friends of the Earth is organising Trick or Treat – a Question-Time style event for the people of Cardiff to ask questions about what they want to see happen. It’s a great opportunity for the people of Cardiff to quiz their politicians about the issues.
Speakers will include:
Cardiff Friends of the Earth wants a Treat – a fair deal that genuinely puts the brakes on carbon emissions. They don’t want an agreement that includes carbon off-setting. This is a business-as-usual Trick and won’t lead to real emission cuts.
