There are no stars for chefs in Cardiff, the capital city! I think there's just one in Wales, in Monmouth which is practically England anyway. One might argue they're not the be all and end all of culinary quality but it's hard to be taken seriously internationally without them. Take a walk through the centre of Cardiff and you'll see why, it's packed out with soulless Wagamamas, generic Italian eateries and fast food establishment and the bay isn't much better.
